As we all stack-up on ties, tool-kits and sporting-event tickets in preparation to celebrate our dads, husbands and grandfathers this weekend, I chose the number 70.1 million for this week’s post. Why 70.1 million? Because 70.1 million is the estimated number of dads across our great nation. However, Anderson Robbins Research is here to let you in on a little secret – a tie or tool-kit may not be what dad actually wants this year. Instead, he could be craving something completely free…

Now, I surely have your attention. Anderson Robbins Research recently conducted a nation-wide survey in an attempt to gather insight into the modern American household. What we found is that when dads were asked how they distress from daily responsibilities like running their household, 17% said spending free time with their kids.

So while everyone loves a great present, this year’s Father’s Day think about gifting the priceless: quality time with the kids. That is surely a gift he will always remember. And from our Anderson Robbins Research family to yours, happy Father’s Day to the 70.1 million wonderful dads out there!
